Fallout 76 recently released it’s B.E.T.A for PC players this week, but the release wasn’t without it’s issues, because you know, Bethesda.
There was an issue where PC players would load up the B.E.T.A client and by clicking a button, any button, the entire 50GB file would be deleted.
Bethesda addressed the issue early on, but it was pretty vague:
Unfortunately, most people didn’t catch the tweet in time and lost their downloads and were forced to re-download the entire B.E.T.A again.
If you are playing on PC, Bethesda tweeted out a link to their status page:
While Bethesda is known for bugs and glitches, this one hits hard. But, PC players aren’t being forgotten. The company announced that they would be extending the B.E.T.A for everyone, including PC players, until Thursday, November 1st.
With the B.E.T.A releasing alongside Red Dead Redemption 2, it will be interesting to see how this affects sales.
