Blizzard recently announced that the base game, along with all current expansions, will now be included with a World of Warcraft subscription.
The announcement, which was posted on the Blizzard Website, also included a pre-patch for the Battle for Azeroth expansion.
All current subscribers are automatically upgraded to the most recent expansion, Legion, at no extra charge. Ultimately giving everyone access to the entire game, that is, until Battle for Azeroth is released next month.
The Battle Chest, which included all of the game’s expansions, has been removed from the website store.
Players will still be required to make a one-time payment of $49.99 if they want access to the next expansion.
If you were ever looking for a time to hop into the World of Warcraft, or if you know someone who’s been hesitant, now may be the time to join.
